 A Different Kind of Success

 It’s funny the roads life takes you on! I would have never imagined that I would find my passion in learning about nutrition and wellness.

It started with me posting pictures of my meals while on my own health journey and people noticing my success. I’ve had many people ask for recipes and what I am doing. That led me to helping others with their healthy living  and weight loss goals, specifically these past few years. I have shared some of their testimonials on this page and my Recipe/Blog page.

Although much of what I have learned about clean eating has been self-taught through my own personal journey, I have become so intrigued that I recently completed a masterclass in nutrition and a masterclass in wellness. I love sharing what I know and what I’ve learned. 

I honestly do not know exactly where this road will lead, but I’m excited to continue the journey and help as many people as I can along the way.

The path to clean eating and breaking free of fatigue, low energy, illness, weight gain and frequent mood swings is clear. I love clean eating because it’s not about dieting, it’s about finding healthy alternatives for the foods you love to eat. You do not need to restrict yourself to be healthy, you just need to choose healthier habits. My life is healthier and truly sweeter!

It isn’t only about what you feed your body, it’s also about what you feed your mind. Shifting my mindset has truly been the reason for my success. Some of the key things I have learned are…

  • Give Yourself Grace- I can not begin to tell you how many times I have fallen short of my goals, especially this past year, need I say 2020?!?! But I promised myself I wouldn’t quit, so I keep getting back up and a new day is a new day.
  •  Progression not Perfection- This has been so freeing. We can never be perfect all the time, but we can strive to move forward one step at a time, even if it is baby steps. I found when I focus on mastering one new healthy habit at a time, I am more likely to succeed.
  •  Splurge in Moderation- We all need to eat a little dirty sometimes.
  •  Let That Should Go- A good friend reminded me that I should stop shoulding myself. Everything we do, we get to do, because we choose to. It’s ok if somedays you just do not feel like it. Enjoy what you chose to do instead, and tomorrow is another day.
