Serves: 4

    Ingredients:

    • 1 lb chicken wings
    • Sea salt
    • Ground black pepper
    • Garlic powder

    Sauce:

    • ¼ stick butter, melted
    • ⅔ cup sriracha
    • 1 tbsp brown sugar
    • 3 cloves garlic, minced

    Instructions:

    1. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
    2. Season generously with sea salt, ground black pepper, and garlic powder.
    3. Cook the wings using your preferred method:
      • Outdoor grill: Grill over medium heat, flipping often, until cooked through and crispy.
      • Indoor grill pan: Grill over medium-high heat, flipping frequently until crispy and cooked through.
      • Broiler: Broil on a foil-lined baking tray, flipping often, until the wings are crispy and fully cooked.
    4. While the wings cook, make the sauce. In a small saucepan, combine the melted butter, sriracha, brown sugar, and minced garlic. Stir well and heat gently until combined.
    5. Toss the cooked wings in the sauce until evenly coated.  Enjoy!

These are my son Brian’s signature spicy wings, the ones we ask him to make for every special occassion. This recipe is all his, and I’m so happy to finally have it written down and saved.
