Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup Bragg’s Liquid Aminos
- 2 tablespoons smooth peanut butter (no added sugar)
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 tablespoons Swerve brown sugar-free substitute
- 2 teaspoons organic sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 2-3 tablespoons water (if needed)
Instructions:
- Add the ingredients into a saucepan over medium heat and simmer until the sauce has thickened and combined completely.
- Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
- If needed, add water if the sauce is thicker than you would like.
- Sauce can be used immediately or put it in an airtight container and store it in the fridge for up to a week.
Recipe Notes:
- If you are allergic to peanut butter, use a different type of nut butter or even sunflower seed butter instead. My husband does not like the taste of peanuts, so I used almond butter.
- The sauce will thicken as it cools down. If the sauce is thicker than you like, just add a tablespoon of water, a little at a time.
- Serving size: 2 tablespoons. Makes approximately 8 servings.
