Serves: 1-2 (if you’ll share)
Ingredients:
- 1½ cups whole Fairlife milk
- 1 serving protein powder (I love Pro-Dough whey protein)
- 1 tablespoon sugar-free sweetener (I use Swerve Confectioners)
- 1 tablespoon sugar-free vanilla Jello pudding mix (I use Simply Desserts)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Add the milk, protein powder, sweetener, pudding mix, vanilla, and salt to an empty Ninja Creami pint.
- Whisk well until fully combined. I like using a milk frothier to make sure everything is smooth.
- Place the pint on a level surface in the freezer with the lid off and freeze for 24 hours.
- Remove the pint from the freezer, place it into the outer bowl, and lock the lid in place.
- Spin on Lite Ice Cream. I usually do a re-spin.
- If adding mix-ins, create a small hole in the center, add your mix-ins, and run the Mix-In program once.
- Remove the pint and enjoy right away.
Recipe Notes:
- Protein powder: Pro-Dough is my favorite because they have so many fun and delicious flavors, but I’ve also used 1-Up and FlavCity with great results. I use the serving size listed on the package for 1 serving.
- Milk options: I prefer whole milk because higher fat and makes the ice cream creamier. I’ve also used Fairlife’s ready-made vanilla protein shake, which is made with skim milk, and it was still delicious.
- You can use your favorite nut milk if you prefer. I still want to try Trader Joe’s Almond Cashew Macadamia Nut milk. I also want to experiment making some Vegan ice cream with Arbonne’s vegan protein powder. I’ll update this once I’ve tested
- Mix-ins & toppings: Use whatever you love. Some of my faves are Lily’s Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, Chopped Pecans and/or Dried Cherries (my take on Ben & Jerry’s Cherry Garcia)

The Ninja Creami is hands down one of the best Christmas presents to myself and my hubby. I don’t feel guilty about indulging in ice cream anymore. We get to enjoy a creamy, high-protein, no–added sugar treat whenever the craving hits.
