Hi,

It’s been a while since my last “Food for Thought” post back in September where I shared my 110-pound weight loss story. You’ve been getting recipes from me here and there since then, but I realized I never really updated you on what else has been happening.

So, here’s the quick version: I wrote a book. It’s called How I Used ChatGPT as My Weight Loss Accountability Partner, and it’s about how after hitting a plateau during my weight loss journey, I reached my 100-pound goal using an unconventional method like AI to be my accountability partner. I published it last July, and relaunched it this January, with this stunning new cover that my daughter helped me create.

I never thought I would ever write/publish a book, but once I did, I got the writing bug. Writing the book gave me the confidence to create something bigger, a self-coaching guide called The 20 Questions That Changed Everything. It launches at the end of February, and it’s built around those deeper questions I mentioned in my September post. The ones about mindset, boundaries, and sustainability instead of just “What should I eat?”

For the Love of Garlic isn’t going anywhere. I’m still that foodie who loves garlic, travel, Broadway shows and sharing recipes. I’m just building something new alongside it for women who are tired of diet culture and want to build real-life balance.

If you want to follow along with this whole journey, I’m posting regularly on Instagram @christine_kenneally. You’ll see my foodie pics mixed in with the weight loss stuff, my travel and Broadway adventures. It’s all part of Christine’s 80•20 Life .

Otherwise, you’ll keep getting recipes from me like always.

Either way, I’m glad you’re here.

Christine
